5 hours trying to beat it on insane as my second mission and gave up. I've played about 400 hours of gloomhaven on various platforms and normally run campaigns on +2. Those single room spawn scenarios are really hard to beat on insane. MT and Scoundrel just dont scale as well, power-wise, in 4p. Im playing 4p with Brute, CH, Spellweaver and Tink. My go to is strengthen on a bottom heal and to unlock that you need to apply strengthen 20x. Not a fan of what they did with enhancements and locking them. If both chars have invis cloak you just delete 2 enemy turns.)Īside from that its fun and i like unlocking items gradually. Might try again with 2p party if this update lets me. You never get time to buff or long rest and on insane im losing cards by turn 3. Its tough but doable on the hard setting. Theres a reason the original GH doesnt have a whole scenario in a small room (to my knowledge). Take that 'first room difficulty' issue some people had with GH and just blow it out of the water. I play on insane and am stuck on the early kill 12 bandit scenario.
